Temple University Public Safety updates TUalerts messaging system with color-coded emails.

TUalert Registration

TUalert is an opt-out program. All temple.edu email accounts are automatically registered to receive TUalerts. Mobile devices registered in TUportal will automatically receive TUalerts. You have the ability to opt out while also making sure your multifactor authentication information stays current. 

Students and Employees 

1. Log into TUportal.
2. Select Self-Service Banner on the left hand side under TUapplications.
3. Select Personal Information.
4. Select Addresses and Phones at the top of the menu.
5. Review the information listed in the Phone Numbers section.

Use the pencil icon to edit any information needing updated.

Parents 

Stay informed and prepared with TUalert notifications. Parents can sign up for TUalerts by texting 'TUalert' to 67283. TUalert Opt-In access is valid for 120 days. At the end of the 120-day period, the subscription expires. To continue receiving TUalerts, you must renew your opt-in by replying “TUalert” when you receive the expiration notification.
