Chief's Corner: As I prepare for my final day at Temple University, I do so with deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve this community. Over the past four years, it has been an honor to stand beside Temple Public Safety and work with students, faculty, staff and North Philadelphia neighbors to help build a safer community. Together, we made progress by investing in people, technology, training and systems that support our teams and those we serve. But our greatest accomplishments were always about people who serve every day with professionalism, compassion and resilience. I am proud of how this department embraced public safety rooted in relationships, visibility and community engagement. Through progress and challenge, including the loss of Sgt. Fitzgerald, I witnessed extraordinary strength and care. Temple and North Philadelphia will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for the trust, friendship and partnership.
