Be Prepared, Be TUready

Being TUready refers to your personal effort to be prepared for any disruptions or emergencies you may experience during your time at Temple University. In order to get through disruptions, you need to know what you can do to be aware of and be prepared for disasters and critical incidents. Being TUready means knowing what to do.

When you are TUready, you have the tools and know-how to remain resilient through life's big and small obstacles, take charge of your well-being, and handle whatever life throws at you.

Emergency supply kits should be filled with all the basic necessities your household may need to take with you on the go if an incident occurs. Discover our checklist of items.

Plan ahead for an emergency situation. Consider how you will communicate, where you will meet and who you can contact out-of-state if you can’t reach people locally.

Prepare for what actions to take in the event of an active assailant situation. Readiness could make a significant difference in the safety of yourself and others.

Disabilities and functional and access needs are a natural part of the human experience. Learn about specific tips for people with disabilities & other needs to create an emergency plan.
